                        Who's Hot...

Agent 55.  "After a few years on the SCCEC circuit, there are two people who are overdue for a win: Gary Lum and Rudy "DX-2" Rosales. Gary is known for having a surplus of horsepower, from earth moving Neo motors, to the ever so delicate Modified combos.  And "DX-2" is one of the best drivers on the West Coast.  All Rudy needs is the slightest motivation, and he can go all the way to the winners circle.  I would also watch Paul Wilde in the "Super Shootout".  His resume speaks for itself.

                        Front Wheel Drives!

With two victories in a row (Octavian Hathorn),
one consistent top ten qualifier (Dennis "Foamy" Hill, and one car going 0.150 under the index before  breaking a front axle resulting in a horrendous crash (Albert Acacio), these FWD's have yelled "We're drag cars too!"  But just who is listening?

                        Mike Rogers is...

Why?  Simply because he can not touch his cars for months, mess with them like he is in this picture, and then go out and set records. You don't believe me?  That's exactly what he did at last years SpringNationals, setting the A/D  and A/SM record.   And thanks to his full scale race car, his lights are always sharp. Will he remind us how hot he can be this year?  I wouldn't want to line up against him...

                        Layoff?  What layoff?

After taking time off to go to school, Art Shaw Jr returned to the SpringNationals and took home all of the Super Gas money.  After speaking to him recently, he vows to return and defend his title this year.

                        This Hemi Dart...

Not only did Dennis "Foamy" Hill set the record @ .809 in an AH/SM, but in a recent test session, Agent 55 "heard" that this Hemi car has gone .770's with a slightly warmer powerplant.  Thats not hot, thats boiling!

This man is "Mr. Modified", Dave Walker.  While everyone else in D/M was trying to go 1.170's or 60's, he decided to wack the record down to a 1.149.
Don't let that smile fool you.

                        Mr Xtreme Comp???

Lets get to the point:  If anyone can smash the soft top end indexes (X/Comp, AA/AM), this is the man.

                        C/SM is very hot.

Basically a SS/D-GT/D with a hoodscoop and 5 more grams, some of the nations best have decided to play in this "sandbox".  Names you know like Rex, Keith, Gary, and Roger.   They don't always play nice, ya know...

                        Neo magnets

These high hp magnets are legal in X/Comp, AA/SM, and AA/AM, and a few racers have shown they have the ability to harness their power.  If you can get a 100gram hardbody in the 6's with a neo setup (AA/AM), you will have the Comp class at your command.

we're just joking.  please don't take this too serious...
